Tot Discovery Day: Water Wonders
Friday, June 8, 9 am - noon
Science Factory members: Free! Non-members: $10 per parent/child combo. Additional children: $2 each. Note: This Tot Day takes place on the second Friday of June, instead of the first.
Oh the wonders of water! Toddlers build boats, learn how water shapes the Earth, find out about the water cycle, and much more! Create beautiful art with water and play with our water table. Make sure to wear some exploration-ready clothes as we turn Tot Day into a splash zone!

Farm Food Festival
Saturday, May 19, 11 am – 3 pm
All ages welcome. Drop-in program. Included with Exhibit Hall admission; free for members.
Join us for a day where we can play with our food! Visitors are invited to investigate growing fruits and vegetables and learn about soils. Explore the processes of preparing and processing food after it's been harvested. Catch butter and cheese making demonstrations, then try to make your own at home! Enter our raffle and meet some furry & feathered farm friends, including Dari-Mart's beloved Marty the Cow!

Partial Solar Eclipse Viewing
Sunday, May 20 5 pm – 7:30 pm
Drop-in program. All ages welcome. Free event; regularly priced dome shows.
View the partial solar eclipse through solar telescopes provided by the Science Factory and the Eugene Astronomical Society. The solar eclipse begins at 5:05 PDT [Eugene]. Maximum eclipse occurs at 6:23pm and it is over at 7:31pm. In addition to the telescopes, other safe methods of observing the partial solar eclipse will be displayed.
Seasonal Stargazing: Spring will play in the Exploration Dome at 5:30pm, 6pm, & 6:30pm. Eclipse glasses are available for purchase!
