Planetarium
Technical Information
The planetarium star projector is a Minolta Series IIB under a 40 foot Astro-Tec dome. The Planetarium is equipped with dozens of slide projectors, All-sky and pan systems, video projectors, laser disc players,DVD, Digital Video, 5.1 channel sound and other special-effect projectors all of which are controlled by a SKY-SKAN's SPICE automation system. We also have satellite reception capabilities as well as high speed internet access to astronomical observatories such as Pine Mountain
Observatory outside Bend, Oregon and the Hubble Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Maryland.
