Eugene Mini Maker Faire Launch Party

March 17, 2016 -
5:30am to 8:00am

Oregon's original Mini Maker Faire returns to the Science Factory on June 11, 2016!

After 4 successful years of hacking, tinkering, inventing, breaking and making - plus doubling our attendance in 2015 - we're looking forward to making this year's event the best Eugene Mini Maker Faire yet!

We're kicking off the search for our area's most creative projects that celebrate the do-it-yourself spirit and inspire the makers in each of us. Join us in the Broadway Commerce Center lobby from 5:30 - 8:00 pm to launch our 'Call for Makers' and have some fun!

We're joined by special guest Kelley Webb Roy, Founder and Director of ADX Portland, Portland's makerspace hub, learning center and custom fabrication shop that serves as an idea incubator for individuals and organizations. Roy is also the founder of Portland Made, a collective of makers, artisans and manufacturers, and a brand that promotes their products locally and globally.

Enjoy hearing about how Roy laid the foundation for putting Portland on the global maker map. Plus, preview of some of our favorite makers including Lumidax Electronics, Lagerbot, Science Factory, and take a guided tour of the Eugene Public Library's brand-new Maker Hub.

Free to attend!! Snacks and refreshments will be provided! We encourage you to RSVP by e-mail to:
