People who are very sensitive to the taste of certain foods are characterized as "super-tasters." Others are tasters or non-tasters.  Super-tasters tend to be picky eaters, while non-tasters desire spicy foods.  And tasters tend to like all foods.

Dr. Guy Crosby became the Science Editor of Cook's Illustrated magazine in 2005 and began recording science segments for the magazine's television show America's Test Kitchen, including many segments with ATK founder Christopher Kimball.  


He has over 30 years of experience in corporate food-related research and development, and is a professional member of the American Chemical Society, Institute of Food Technologists, and American Society for Nutrition.
