We will be open daily from 10am-4pm in July and August

Special field trip and group arrangements can be made to the Science Factory Children's Museum & Planetarium, any day of the week except Monday, by reservation.

GETTING HERE:


The Science Factory is located next to Autzen Stadium, within the city's largest developed parkland, Alton Baker Park.

The museum is accessible by bicycle, bus or car and parking is free. A covered bike rack is available.



By Car:

Follow these directions to the most colorful building in Oregon!

From I-5, take exit 194-B and travel West on Hwy. 126 toward Autzen Stadium.
Take exit 2 off Hwy. 126 (City Center/Autzen Stadium/Coburg Road) to Coburg Road.
Making a rounded left (not the hard left), follow signs to Autzen Stadium. Using the roundabout at Club Blvd, you should pass the Marriott Residence Inn and La Quinta hotels. Turn right (east) onto Martin Luther King Blvd. and proceed about 0.5 mile until you see Autzen Stadium. Turn right (south) onto Leo Harris Pkwy, following signs to the Science Factory.

From the East (Springfield):
From Main Street in Springfield, turn North on 14th Street/Pioneer Pkwy. Turn left onto Centennial Blvd. Cross I-5 into Eugene where Centennial Blvd changes name to Martin Luther King Blvd. Next to Autzen Stadium, turn left onto Leo Harris Pkwy. Follow the signs to the Science Factory.

From the West (Coast, Veneta, West Eugene)
Travel East on West 11th Avenue to Garfield and turn left. Take Garfield to 7th Avenue (Old Hwy. 99) and turn right. Travel through downtown and bear left, following signs to Coburg Road on the Ferry Street Bridge. As soon as you are on the bridge crossing river, get into right hand lane and take the first right onto Martin Luther King Blvd. Proceed through light and make a right on Leo Harris Parkway, directly before Autzen Stadium.


By Bus:
